About Us
We have been providing guided tours on Juneau trails since 1994. We are a small, locally owned and operated eco-tour company.
Our mission is to provide high quality, educational tour experiences with exceptional service to curious and adventurous travelers.
We attribute our consistent positive feedback to extensive training, many returning seasonal employees and a friendly and fun working environment.
Training & Awards
Our trail guides, photographers and Nature Center naturalists are trained under the principals of the National Association of Interpretation, and many have earned “Certified Interpretive Guide” credentials. Several of our guides, over the past 5 years, have been selected as the most highly recognized guide in Juneau through the CRUISE awards program. This honor is especially notable in a tourism destination with hundereds of guides providing exceptional service to our visitors.
As a local company, we consistently contribute money and services to local non-profit organizations. We especially support "Trail Mix", a local public trails maintenance organization, Discovery Southeast, a regional youth nature studies organization, TBMP an organization working to minimize the negative impacts of tourism on the community, the Juneau Raptor Center, The Juneau Audubon Society, and the local chapters of the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America.
